Important notice

MedStackPlus is a marketing tool, not a legal tool. It is not a law firm and not a medical provider, and nothing it writes or checks is legal or medical advice. Health care advertising, texting, privacy and licensing rules differ by state and specialty and change often. Read every draft. Before you publish, send or print it, confirm that each claim, price, license line, offer and statement about care is true and allowed where you practice. Do not enter patient information. In an emergency, call 911.

What this is

MedStackPlus is a tool that helps you write marketing for your medical practice: texts, emails, posts, local pages, review replies and event notes. It uses artificial intelligence, which can be wrong. Every result is a draft for you to read, correct and approve. Nothing is sent or posted until you do it.

It is not legal advice and not medical advice

Health care advertising, patient privacy, texting, email, licensing, referral and promotion rules are set by federal law, each state and often each professional board, and they change. The checks in this product are a cautious reading of rules that usually apply. They are not a ruling that a piece is allowed where you practice, and a piece that passes a check can still break a rule.

Nothing here creates a lawyer and client relationship, and nothing here is medical advice for any person. When you are unsure whether something you want to say or do is allowed, ask your state board, your compliance officer or an attorney experienced in health care before you publish.

Do not enter patient information

MedStackPlus is marketing software. It is not designed to hold patient records, clinical notes, diagnoses, test results, insurance numbers or any other protected health information, and this site does not claim that the product, the site or any practice is HIPAA compliant. Do not type patient names, health details or photos of patients into the tools, the forms or the chat. Unless a written agreement with us says otherwise, assume nothing you enter is covered by any health privacy arrangement.

The rules inside the tools forbid writing patient details into a message, ad or post. A patient photo, story or review may be used only with that patient's signed written authorization, which you keep.

You are responsible for what you publish

You decide what goes out under your practice's name. Before you use a draft, confirm that every fact is true for your practice: your license and certification lines, prices, offers, hours, insurance plans accepted and the services you provide. If the draft has a bracketed placeholder, fill it in or remove the line.

Advertising platforms and boards

Meta, Google and other ad platforms apply special rules to health ads, including limits on speaking to a person's health condition or targeting by it. State medical and professional boards add their own advertising rules for titles, specialties, testimonials and before and after images. This product writes cautious copy, but it cannot promise that an ad will be approved, and an account can be limited or removed without notice.

Texting and email

Marketing texts go only to people who agreed in writing to receive them, name your practice and end with an opt out line, are not sent early in the morning or late at night, and never contain a health detail. Texting also needs carrier registration, and it stays off in this product until you turn it on. Marketing email carries an unsubscribe line and your practice address. You are responsible for keeping proof of consent.

Referrals and offers

Federal and state laws, such as the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Stark law, limit what you may give or receive in exchange for patient referrals, and free or discounted care and copay waivers can raise legal issues. The tools do not write offers meant to reward referrals, and they flag offers for your attorney. Have counsel review any referral program or patient offer before you run it.

Not for emergencies

Do not use this site, the chat assistant or any tool for an emergency or for medical advice. If you or someone else may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the United States.

No promises about results

We do not promise any number of patients, visits, messages, reviews, rankings or revenue, and we do not promise that a draft will be accepted by a platform, a board or a regulator.

Terms and Privacy

The Terms and the Privacy Policy are being finalized by an attorney and will be published at /terms and /privacy. This notice is a plain language summary and does not replace them.
